Hello Faith Family,
2024 is almost behind us, and what a year it has been. We have gotten to know many new friends this year, as well as participated in some amazing ministry events. I never get tired of bragging on this church! Your faithfulness and your willingness to grow is beautiful. I truly believe that God is building something very special in our community through Faith Methodist Church.
I want to leave you with a word that I believe sums up what we have heard this year through God’s Word. We have seen Him this year as our Shepherd, we have heard His sermon from the mount and learned how deeply He calls to us, and we have worked through Paul’s
instructions to be holy and be transformed. We are called to be transformed by putting Christ on every day and making Him the priority of our mind, intentions, and spirit. I am convinced that as we do this more and more, we will find ourselves ready to move into the things God has in store for us in the new year.
This Advent season we will be celebrating the theme “Coming Home”. In it, we will visit the characters and scenes of the Christmas story and see what God has for us to glean. I am excited about Advent because we get to see the décor of the season, hear the songs from our choir that lift up the greatest gift of all, and be together and filled with the true Joy of the season. Don’t miss out!
One final thing. We ask that you remember us at year’s end. If it is helpful for you to give before the year is out, we would be blessed to receive your gift. If you just want to give a thank you gift to God for how He has blessed you or for how He has moved in our church, we would be blessed and promise that all gifts will be managed well and used to further our ministries and vision for our community.
