Easy Faith

We have discovered an incredible secret recipe at Faith Church. It has produced life and energy in our congregation.  It has encouraged us to pray more effectively, worship more passionately, and serve more often.  It seems to be setting us apart.  In reality, the secret is that it is an old concept. Here is what we do:

We believe that God is who He says He is.

We believe that He can do what He says He can do.

We believe that worship is a time to be completely in His presence and that it should focus solely on Him.

We get excited about these truths.

We pray like we believe these things.

We preach like we believe these things.

We live like we believe these things.

It may seem simplistic, but we really believe it and it shows up in our worship and in our people.

I am a bit embarrassed to write this, but from what I hear, many churches are struggling with these things.

Now, if these things are true for a church, guess what?  They are true for us an individual Christians as well.  We have a lot to be excited about.  I hope that you are excited and taking full advantage of all that God has given us.  You and I have been given access to a wonderful Kingdom.
