We are Excited!
Why Are We Excited at Faith? These are things that I have witnessed in the past month: A member of our youth group praying with other youth. A member of our young adult group taking leadership and teaching other young adults. A group of men rallying around one another for strength and encouragement. A new staff member going the extra mile to make an impact on others. Several random acts of kindness and gratefulness within our membership. A new team has been formed to grow food in our garden to help serve our community. New faces in our worship service. New attenders who have come to me and asked how they can serve. More volunteers than I ever dreamed of having. Leaders who have shown great vision and faith. Loads of food donated to our Manna Pantry. People growing deeper and deeper in their discipleship. This is just in one month. In reality, this is a fairly normal month here at Faith. God is blessing us so much and I truly believe it is because of the hearts of the people that call Faith home. I cannot wait to see what happens in this new month. Let’s continue to follow the leading of God’s Holy Spirit and step into the wonder of being His Church.
In Him, Pastor Scott |

Mission Spotlight : Backpack BuddiesDrop off food items or donate online Schools in our community have identified children that are living in homes with food-insecurity. Our mission is to give those children bags each Friday that will supply them with food for the weekend. Each week, our volunteers pack about 45 of these Backpack Buddy Bags that are delivered to our local elementary schools. Each bag typically contains; mac & cheese, SpaghettiOs, Beanie Weenies, ramen noodles, Pop-Tarts, granola bars, fruit snacks, juice boxes, applesauce, fruit cups, and raisins. If you wish to get involved and support this mission, you may drop off any of the listed items at our church or donate on our website. Thank you! |
