There is a lot of stuff brewing in our cauldron here in the world of Faith.  Fall seems to be showing up in a wonderfully delightful way as the weather is cooling off and darkness is creeping ever closer to dinner time.  Our Fall programs are in full swing, and we continue to see God move in amazing ways in our Wednesday Night at Faith, in our Youth, Young Adults, and Children.  

We are digging deep into the Book of Ephesians this fall.  I hope that you are reading ahead and learning a little more about studying the Bible.  This week we will be tackling chapter 3. 

Please make sure that you are signed up to help out and serve at our Trunk and Treat Outreach event on the 27th.  We have many kids ready to come out and be blessed and we are going to need all hands on deck.  

Many of you will be heading to Blue Ridge next week to take a wonderful train ride through the North Georgia Mountains.  I look forward to the fellowship and the experience.

In the spirit of fall, I have included a Halloween reference and a football reference in this letter.  See if you can pick them out.  If you do, then give me a big high five on Sunday as we gather together to worship.

The community is invited to join us for fall fun!  Photo booth, petting zoo, gem mining, hay ride, the Book Mobile, and lots of candy, popcorn, snow cones,  and cotton candy. Costumes encouraged but not required!  There is no cost for this event. 

This event is a lockout that is put on by the Word of Life group. The cost will be $50. It is open to 6-12 grade students.  We will meet at Faith at 9pm and join Friendship Baptist Church for transportation.  From 9:30-11:30 we will be at the Champions Center for games, music and a guest speaker.  At 11:30 we will have pizza.  From there go to Lakepoint Station and then from 3-6 we will be back at the Champions Center for more games and fun. Join us for a heartfelt Friendsgiving celebration on November 24 in the sanctuary! This special gathering is open to all young adults and their families as we come together to give thanks and enjoy a meal in fellowship and friendship. The church will provide the main dish (meat), and we encourage everyone to bring a side dish or dessert to share. Whether it’s your favorite family recipe or a new creation, your contributions will make this event even more special.
