Hello Faith Family and Friends,
We are quickly entering the Holiday season here at Faith. That means it is about to get busy, but also fun and meaningful. As we move toward Thanksgiving and Christmas, I urge you all to check our church calendar regularly to make sure that you are not missing anything. I am excited as we prepare to see what God has in store for us throughout this special time of the year.
We are just coming off another wonderful Trunk and Treat event. We saw over 500 kids and around 1500 people visit our property and take part in this event. I am so grateful to all who worked so hard to make that moment so successful. We had tons of trunks full of candy, just enough candy, and lots of helpers to make sure everything went smoothly. A special thank you to Christy Dunn and her leadership that made the day work and to all who donated so much candy to make the event a success.
We are also extremely grateful and overwhelmed by the response to our Manna Pantry being low. We have not missed a beat thanks to all of you. Thankfully, some of our sources are back on track, and we should be good to go for the rest of the year.
This newsletter marks a change for us. We are changing our format from a weekly newsletter to a monthly newsletter. This will hopefully help you in your planning and give you a fuller look into what is going on at Faith. One big change will be that the sermon will not be included as it has before. If you want to watch, share, or even rewatch a sermon, you can still find them all located on our website and through our app. We hope that this change works well for all of you.
It is an exciting time to be a part of Faith Methodist. I wish I had space to share all of the stories of growth, changed lives, new visions, and all that God is doing. Suffice it to say that we are right on schedule and this next year promises to be an exciting time. Please continue to pray diligently for our church, our leaders, and our members. Continue to show up and do this ministry together and be a part of what God is about to do. Give as you can to make sure that we have as many open doors as possible to grow into the things God is calling us to do.
