Here at Faith, we have various missions to serve others in Cartersville, Bartow County, and across the world. Read below to learn more about what we are doing and how you may get involved!
Schools in our community have identified children that are living in homes with food-insecurity. Our mission is to give those children bags each Friday that will supply them with food for the weekend. Each week, our volunteers pack about 45 of these Backpack Buddy Bags that are delivered to our local elementary schools. Each bag typically contains; mac & cheese, SpaghettiOs, Beanie Weenies, ramen noodles, Pop-Tarts, granola bars, fruit snacks, juice boxes, applesauce, fruit cups, and raisins. If you wish to get involved and support this mission, you may drop off any of the listed items at our church or donate on our website.
Manna Pantry is a resource ministry to our community providing food on a weekly basis. All one needs to participate is an ID showing Bartow residency. We work with Federal and State agencies to provide as many nutritional options as possible.
We partner with Venezuela Now as they provide food, education, and medical relief to the devastated country of Venezuela.
Every November and December, we partner with local schools to identify families in need of a little extra support with Christmas gifts. The school provides us with a list of children, their ages, gender, size, and wishes. Volunteers then create 10 gift tags, with five wants and five needs, for each child and place them on our "Giving Tree" in the church. Individuals are welcome to grab as many tags as they would like to shop for and then return the gifts with the tags attached by a listed deadline. The gifts are then delivered to the schools, where the families can pick them up and bring them home for Christmas. If you wish to get involved and help provide families in our community with an abundant Christmas, please stop by or reach out to us!
Anchor Ministries is a local Bartow County ministry that provides prayer support and education, help for those in need, and spiritual formation throughout our county.
We provide financial help on need by need basis. We cannot help everyone, but we serve those that we can. Our goal is to be the step that gets someone to a place of self sufficiency. This ministry is managed through the office of our pastor.
Sponsored by Bartow County Schools, families may bring children 18 and younger to get a summer lunch.
