Our Story, His Glory!

I had a very pressing thought as I woke up this morning. “Our Story has to be for His Glory”. What does that mean you might ask? Well from my perspective it has two sides.

This first is that scripture is clear that we exist for His glory and that we should do everything to live into that purpose.

The second is that we recognize His fingerprints all throughout our story.

 

We have seen an amazing year since July of last year. Our church has grown, we have a new sense of life and energy, new faces, new visions and new dreams. It is very important that we attribute all of that to the glory of God. As you have heard me say a few times, it is my goal to see what God is doing and be a part of that! I believe that is what is happening at Faith.

I also believe that this is just the beginning of what God has in store for us. The more we glorify His name in our successes, the more He can trust us to carry greater things.

The message today is simple. Our Story, His Glory! Please take a moment today and be grateful for all He has given us and all that He is doing in our church. Also, thank Him for all that is to come. Every week we pray “For thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the GLORY…”

I want everyone to know how great our God is! To God be the Glory!
