Weekly Update
This week is our first week off this summer from Bible School and Summer Lunches. Together we served an average of 65 families a week through Summer Lunches and our VBS participants raised enough money to buy 36 water filters for Filters of Hope. I am so glad that we had the summer that we did, but as you have heard me say, Kingdom work is messy and hard! We did have the privilege of hosting all of the teachers and staff from Cloverleaf Elementary School this week. We served breakfast and allowed them to use our facilities for their back-to-school training. What an honor it is to serve this great community and be a small part of what makes it go. I am looking forward to hanging out Sunday at the Church Wide Pool Party. I hope that you can all make it. I have a new bathing suit and everything! As we get ready to head out of summer and into the fall schedules, I hope that you will all recommit to making Faith a great church that does great things. Vacations are coming to an end and life in the normal lane is coming back. I cannot wait to worship together and study together and fellowship together over the next several weeks. Invite, pray, and show up. Let’s see what God has in store! -Pastor Scott |
