Weekly Update
School has started back and summer life is showing up in the rearview mirror. Our kids are back in school, and our schedules are becoming more routine. I hope that we will make worshiping together an important part of that new routine. I have been excited to see our worship team growing. We have an all-out orchestra up there with saxophones, flutes, guitars, piano, bass, drums and singers. Maybe one Sunday I can bring my cow bell and join in! Each one of them gives a lot of time to rehearse and prepare. They do a wonderful job leading us into times of worship and for that we are thankful. I am looking forward to receiving several new members into the Faith tribe this coming Sunday. I am also looking very much forward to starting our Wednesdays at Faith coming up on the 14th. The fall also gives us the opportunity to launch into a new series of sermons. For the next 8 weeks we are going to look at some real questions that people are asking. I hope that we can bring some answers to you that will be helpful, freeing, and will hopefully deepen your faith. Here is a look at some of the questions we will tackle: Who is the Real Jesus? Do I have a Destiny? Are my circumstances God’s Judgement? How does Sin really affect me? Is the Church still relevant? Does God care about my job? Is everyone called to ministry? Is it alright to doubt? Feel free to share these with anyone you know who might be asking these questions! -Pastor Scott |
