Weekly Update
We have enjoyed another great week here at Faith. Last Wednesday we kicked off “Wednesdays at Faith” with good success. We started a study on prayer and then broke into small groups and had lively discussions. My hope is that we continue to grow in numbers and in discipleship. On Monday, several members supported Anchor Ministries by participating in their annual golf tournament. The weather was perfect, the scoring not so much! But we had a great time. Anchor Ministries is one of our partner mission ministries here in Bartow County. On Labor Day weekend they will be doing ministry to the residents of The Efficiency Inn. These are people who are living very much on the margins and staying a hairs breath away from homelessness. We have been asked over the next two Sundays to collect feminine products and toilet paper to give out during the Labor Day mission. If you can help out please do so. I want to encourage everyone to continue to be an evangelist. All you need to do is share our social media posts. Every time you share our news, our reach is exponentially increased. We are seeing our online numbers go up each week, but it is never enough when there are hurting and lost people in our world. You never know who will hear a message or read a post simply because it came from you! Let’s keep growing deeper in Christ and in relationship with one another. We have much ahead of us and it is going to take us all to accomplish what God is calling us to do. In Him, Pastor Scott
